Overload protection

— this protection system turns off the filter if the power consumption of electrical appliances connected to it is higher than the maximum power of the filter itself. Note that overload is not necessarily a consequence of an emergency — it can arise simply due to the inclusion of powerful consumers. However, in this mode of operation, off-design currents pass through the device, and the consequences can be no less sad than with a short circuit. To avoid this, overload protection is used. Do not confuse it with a fuse (see the relevant paragraph) — in this case we are talking about a reusable automatic system.
