At the heart of the hardware is an AMD Jaguar 8-core CPU specially designed for consoles, 8 GB of RAM and a 1.84 tflops graphics card. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports for connecting controllers and other peripherals.

One of the older models in the updated family of Microsoft game consoles, which initially comes with two branded control joysticks instead of one. This option is primarily designed for users who love joint games behind the same screen. Also note that the set includes Microsoft Xbox One S in a modification with a 1 TB drive. In addition to games, the device can play content from external drives connected via a USB port, DVD / Blu-ray discs and directly from the Internet. The maximum resolution supported is ultraHD (4K), with support for HDR technology.

True to its name, this model is a further development and improvement of the advanced desktop console PlayStation 4, modified to meet the top class for the fall of 2016. One of the most striking practical differences from its predecessor was support for 4K video; this became possible primarily due to a new video accelerator with an almost 2.5-fold increase in performance. Processor — also improved, although of the same family — AMD Jaguar; this allowed to keep the amount of RAM at 8 GB.

The model is equipped with a DVD / Blu-ray disc drive, but it is deprived of the ability to connect to the Internet, which was in the original version of the set-top box. A special Nintendo Sensor Bar provides tracking of controller movements, which opens up new possibilities for the user in games.

A handheld game console introduced by Sony in 2013 as the second generation of the Vita. The Slim index is quite true: the thickness of the case in this model has decreased to 15 mm. The simplification affected primarily 3D capabilities — none of the 2DS screens are capable of reproducing 3D (although the camera for creating three-dimensional images has not disappeared). Another difference is the clumsy body. The rest of the characteristics of the device have not changed much: two displays with the same dimensions (3.53 "and 3.02"), a Wi-Fi module, an accelerometer with a gyroscope, flash-based memory (2 GB) plus a card slot. A variation on the PlayStation 3 from autumn 2012, modified to reduce size and weight: it is almost a quarter thinner and lighter than the "regular" slim version. Like its predecessor, Super Slim is built on an 8-core 3.2 GHz processor and has 256 MB of RAM, but the hard drive is available in 2 versions — 12 and 500 GB. The technical characteristics of this portable set-top box are fully consistent with the name: in fact, we have the same 3DS in front of us, and the main difference from the original is the increased size of both displays — 4.88 "and 4.18" for the top and bottom, respectively. Another difference is the bundle, which includes, in addition to the stylus, also a 4 GB SD memory card. Other characteristics are almost identical: 3D playback without special glasses, a camera with a pair of lenses for three-dimensional shooting, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a Wi-Fi module.

A very advanced portable console, in fact, more like a multimedia centre than a pure gaming device. So, she can play videos, music and photos, has Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth modules, and a set of software includes social networking clients. The 5" OLED display has a resolution of 960x544 and is equipped with a sensor; the rear panel is also touch-sensitive, which, in combination with the built-in gyroscope, provides advanced control in games. Games are delivered on special cards designed specifically for Vita.

Having replaced the original Wii, this model not only continued the traditions of the series, but also introduced several new original solutions. So, the design of the controller actually blurs the line between desktop and portable consoles: it is actually a separate portable console with a microphone, camera and its own 6.2" touch screen, where, if necessary, you can switch the gameplay from an external screen. At the same time the console is compatible with the games and all the accessories of its predecessor.

As the first handheld console from Nintendo to support 3D, this model still has very advanced 3D capabilities. So, the upper display is capable of displaying a 3D image visible to the naked eye, and the software part allows you to adjust the “three-dimensional intensity”, and the camera is equipped with a pair of lenses for 3D shooting. The bottom screen is made touch, the delivery set includes a special stylus. Additional equipment includes a Wi-Fi module and an accelerometer with a gyroscope.

Quite an interesting variation on the theme of the original PlayStation 3. On the one hand, the new console has lost a memory card slot and half of the USB ports (Slim has 2 of them). On the other hand, the volume of the built-in storage has increased to 120 GB (in the minimum configuration), and power consumption has decreased by 30% with the same hardware basis: 8-core processor with 3.2 GB, 256 MB of RAM and a Blu-ray drive. Another variation on the PSP theme, this time from 2009. This model immediately catches the eye due to the non-standard, within the line, case, made in the slider form factor. For the first time among the models of the family, in addition to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth support appeared, but there is no UMD drive, the console only works with memory cards. The hardware is traditional — a 333 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM, but the screen has become somewhat smaller — 3.8 ". Although this console is not the most advanced on the market today, it still has a very impressive set of features, both basic and advanced.
