EFB
— an advanced subtype of lead-acid batteries with a longer service life, high safety, and virtually maintenance-free design. The abbreviation EFB stands for Enhanced Flooded Battery. The distinguishing feature of EFB technology is the use of thick plates made of pure lead without any impurities. The positive plates in the battery construction are wrapped in special "packs" of microfiber, which absorbs and retains the liquid electrolyte. As a result, this prevents the intensive shedding of active material and significantly slows down the sulfation process during deep discharge of the battery. Additionally, due to the homogeneous structure of the electrolyte (which mixes naturally with the movement of the vehicle), the overall lifespan of EFB lead-acid batteries is extended, and the charging speed is increased.
