Plastic blade

— replacement cutting element for trimmers, used instead of line or metal blades. It is well-suited for regular mowing of soft and medium grass: cuts more neatly than line, makes less noise, and usually just wears down or breaks when in contact with stones, tiles, or curbs. For tough weeds, thick stems, and shrubs, plastic blades are less suitable — in such tasks, a metal disc or more powerful cutting equipment is more effective.
