Plastic blade

— replacement cutting element for a trimmer, used instead of line or metal blade. It is well-suited for regular cutting of soft and medium grass: it cuts more neatly than line, makes less noise, and when in contact with stones, tiles, or curbs, it usually just wears down or breaks. For tough weeds, thick stems, and shrubs, plastic blades are less suitable — a metal disc or more powerful cutting equipment is more effective for such tasks.
