Cast iron pans
— "Classic of the genre", which has long been used for the manufacture of pans and still has not lost its popularity. Massive cast iron pans heat up evenly and store heat well, this material normally tolerates high temperatures, and due to some tricks it can even acquire non-stick properties (a separate non-stick coating is usually not applied to cast iron). A lot of weight can create some inconvenience — but on the other hand, it also ensures the stability of the dishes. Of the obvious shortcomings, it is worth highlighting the tendency to corrosion (a number of rules must be observed when leaving), as well as unsuitability for long-term storage of food (it darkens and acquires an unpleasant aftertaste).
