All types of such coatings have both advantages and disadvantages: for example, Teflon is sensitive to scratches and overheating, ceramics — to shock and temperature changes, etc. And the cost of such dishes is higher than from "ordinary" materials. For all these reasons, non-stick pans are preferred by some users, and such cookware continues to be produced by most manufacturers.
