Universal
— axes of various specializations, not related to cleavers or tomahawks (see relevant paragraphs). Note that, despite the name, there are no 100% universal tools among such axes, each of them has a certain specialization. So, models of great length and weight are produced, which differ from cleavers only in the shape of the blade; carpenter's axes about 50 – 60 cm long; compact tourist axes, etc. This specialization must be taken into account when choosing; it is most clearly displayed by the length of the tool (see the relevant paragraph).Show
