From 2012 VAG introduced a new version of their 1.4 TFSi petrol engine. This new engine is equipped with CoD technology (Cylinder on Demand) which allows the engine to switch between 2 and 4 cylinder running modes to maximise efficiency. This kit provides the tools required to set the valve timing on the extensive range ofDW10 and DW12 diesel engines found in the PSA and Fiat ranges. The DW10 engine range has a 2.0 capacity (from 1999) and has SOHC and DOHC.The twin cam systems has one camshaft driven by the cam belt and the other shaft driven by a chain in the head. The DW12 range is 2.2 ( from 2001). A pulley holding tool, such as Part No. 2869 may be required to change the chain.
