Dustproof level 6 means that the case is completely impervious to dust and other similar contaminants. Water resistance 7 allows the possibility of short-term (less than half an hour, and often less) immersion in water to a depth of 1 m. Thus, with a similar gadget on your hand, you can even swim — but without diving into depth and without jumping into the water. It is also worth bearing in mind that this level alone does not guarantee protection against water jets. So, if the device is planned to be used, for example, for water sports like surfing or jet ski racing, it will not hurt to clarify whether it can normally tolerate strong jets and waves.
