— the batteries are cylindrical in shape, the largest (61.5x34.2 mm), capacious and powerful among the 1.5-volt power supplies used today. In general, they are used quite rarely — mainly in flashlights that initially have large dimensions and do not require particularly compact power sources (or they require high power and battery capacity, which cannot be provided by elements of smaller sizes).

Power supplies of this type can be produced both in the form of disposable batteries and in the form of rechargeable batteries. At the same time, both of them can differ markedly in capacity; accordingly, the battery life of a flashlight with such a power supply will be different — depending on the brand of batteries (accumulators) used. Also note that this type of power supply — like other types of replaceable cells — is inevitably associated with additional expenses: you will either have to regularly buy fresh batteries, or spend money on a set of batteries with a charger.
