Staple bending

When connecting thin materials, when the legs of the staples pass through, this function is highly desirable: it increases the reliability of the connection, makes it safe (it is extremely difficult to catch on a bent leg, unlike an unbent one) and gives a neat appearance. Some staplers with this feature have their own stop acting as an anvil, but most models require a separate, solid backing to fold.
