Vacuum cleaners with turbobrush
Turbobrush
— a turbobrush is a nozzle with a rotating roller, which is driven by airflow. This roller is particularly effective at picking up hair, wool, thread and other similar debris. But more specific design features and the general purpose of turbo brushes can be different. So, in some models, the roller is equipped with bristles and is designed mainly for fleecy surfaces such as carpets or furniture upholstery; (however, for furniture it is more reasonable to use reduced mini turbobrushes). In turn, rollers with soft short pile are great for smooth surfaces - including rather delicate ones, like parquet. Thus, there may be several turbo brushes in the kit - for different tasks.Note that the turbobrush must be periodically cleaned from collected contaminants. In addition, such a nozzle slightly reduces the overall suction efficiency, since part of the power is spent on rotating the roller. Electric versions are deprived of this drawback. However, they also have their own nuances (for more details, see the relevant paragraph). Also note that even mechanical turbo brushes are quite expensive, even though their advantages become noticeable only when cleaning hair and long hair. Therefore, if you do not regularly deal with such pollution, it most likely makes sense to choose a vacuum cleaner without a turbobrush. For additional convenience, such models in our catalogue are highlighted in a separate selection item.
