Audio receivers with optical input

The TOSLINK cable used for this connection is characterized by a high degree of noise immunity (compared to coaxial, see the relevant paragraph), but it must be handled carefully — a strong bend or pressure can damage the fibre. The bandwidth of the interface is sufficient to work with multi-channel audio up to 7.1 inclusive.
