The build quality is good, and the touchpad keyboard is acceptable in terms of usability. The 15-inch 144Hz IPS display delivers the smooth, crisp gaming experience you need. The body of the Nitro 5 is far from being the thinnest, lightest and most beautiful, but in our opinion this is the opposite, a plus, since a rather intelligent cooling system is located inside, which adequately handles with cooling the hot hardware.

Core i5 processor and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card

Inside the laptop, we will see a tenth-generation 8-thread Core i5, 16 GB of RAM with a frequency increased to 2933 MHz and a fast 512 GB NVMe drive. In the tradition of the Nitro series, the laptop is easily disassembled, allowing you to increase the amount of RAM and connect a second SSD to a free M.2 slot. The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti is responsible for gaming performance, which delivers 10-15% more FPS than the regular RTX 3050. For its thousand-odd dollars, this ensemble provides optimal decent FPS in most AAA projects in 2021 at Full HD resolution and high graphics settings. Lowering graphics settings to get the coveted 60 FPS will only be necessary in the latest AAA projects like Resident Evil Village, Cyberpunk 2077 and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and Deathloop.
