Acer Aspire ES1-332 is the golden mean between the screen size sufficient for daily work (13.3") and relatively small for constant wear in a bag or backpack weighing 1.7 kg without a charger. The weight, in truth, could be less: there are 1.5 kg and even lighter 13-inch ones on the market. But Acer engineers decided that it was wiser not to chase record-breaking low weight, but instead to make the case out of thick, durable plastic - nothing creaks or bends at all.

New generation

The Aspire ES1-332 processor, although only a dual-core Intel Celeron N3350, is built on the latest energy-efficient Apollo Lake architecture. Thanks to this, it is one and a half times faster than the representatives of the previous generation Braswell. Surfing the Internet is more comfortable, and complex calculations in Excel and MatLab are performed almost without delay.

Hiking but not shockproof

By the way, unlike most 15-inch laptops, inside the 13-inch Aspire ES1-332 there is room for only one drive. That is, the HDD can only be replaced with an SSD, and not both drives can be installed at the same time. We recommend this laptop primarily to students: it is not difficult to wear and the screen is not so small that your eyes get tired quickly.
