It may come with different memory and controllers: Phison PS3111-S11-13 for Micron/Toshiba TLC or Silicon Motion SM2259XT2 for Kioxia QLC.

Internal 120 GB SSD with SATA 3 connection interface. Equipped with Toshiba 15nm TLC NAND memory and Phison PS3111-S11 controller with dual-channel memory access. The manufacturer is positioned as a low-cost model designed for use in home and office personal computers. Thanks to the backward compatibility of the SATA 3 and SATA 2 connection interface, it can be used for upgrading existing systems, and the 7mm thick aluminium case fits easily into the dense layout of laptops and ultrabooks.

The Kingston A400 [SA400S37/120G] SSD delivers high read performance (500MB/s) and average write performance (320MB/s) enhanced by SLC caching technology with up to 4GB cache. When continuously writing large files, the write speed is reduced to 80 Mbps. However, in the usual scenario of using the device as a system disk, such large write arrays are rare and the drive stably maintains high speed characteristics. Works in AHCI mode and correctly supports the TRIM command. It has a peak power consumption of 1.5W and a typical power consumption of 0.8W, making it suitable for use in tight and poorly ventilated environments. The manufacturer declares a guaranteed write resource of 40 TB, which allows you to write 22 GB of data to the drive daily for 5 years.

good model, like it

I've been using this SSD for over three years. It was in a PC for a year and in a laptop for the last two years. Everything works perfectly. Reading negative reviews surprises me. Yes, defects happen, no one is immune from that. But reasonable people go to the store and exchange the item, instead of immediately rushing to hate.
For your price, maybe, the best you can get

Anyone transitioning from old HDDs to SATA2 is in for a pleasant surprise.

Great SSD. It noticeably sped up a 12-year-old computer with socket 775 and 4GB RAM. Windows 10 LTSC Compact loads in 12 seconds. The lag from frequent access to the page file has disappeared. The browser opens in a second, and overall, the responsiveness of the interface has increased several times. I recommend it!
Reasonable price, decent appearance.

An excellent option for a first SSD
22 October 2020
Bought in November 2018 at DNS for 2000 rubles, in the 120GB version. Now (10/22/2020) it costs the same there (most likely related to the dollar exchange rate, but still). A good SSD as a first one, the speed compared to an HDD is really impressive. After 2 years, wear was 6% with 8400 hours of operation (350 days). But next time, I'll probably get an NVMe of a good class.
Price, good resource for such a budget model
Write speed after 2 years is 2 times lower than stated (tested several times, but it doesn't exceed 170 MB/s)
