Four cores
AMD A8-7600 is the youngest and, accordingly, the most affordable processor of the Kaveri family with four cores and an integrated graphics accelerator. A simple CPU cooler is included.
Energy efficient mode
The AMD A8-7600 can work in two modes: energy-efficient and high-performance(switched in the BIOS settings of the motherboard). In energy-efficient mode, the processor generates only 45 W of heat, but operates at a relatively low frequency of 3.1-3.3 GHz (the nominal frequency and Turbo Core auto overclocking, respectively). This option does not require significant cooling, which favorably affects the noise.
High frequency mode
In high-performance mode, the heat dissipation of the processor increases to 65 W, and the frequency increases to 3.3-3.8 GHz. For a gaming PC, where increased noise can be neglected, it is the high-frequency mode that will be more useful.
Integrated graphics
The Radeon R7 graphics accelerator built into the AMD A8-7600 has 384 micro-cores of the GCN architecture, thanks to which its performance is approximately comparable to the NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 discrete graphics card. But note that the Radeon R7 does not have its own video memory, therefore it uses 2 GB of PC RAM .
