Very fast SSD. Just installed it, but it passed the tests well. I will use it for games and virtual machines. Speed, configuration Difficult to find information about the chip model and memory modules |
These disks may have different filling. I got a Phison 5027-e27 without a DRAM buffer. On 1TB there are 2 memory chips of 512GB T27HGA5A1V. They are arranged on one side, the disk is thin. High peak speed for a reasonable price. Radiator included. Noticeable heating. No DRAM buffer. |
When I bought the PS5, I almost immediately faced the fact that it disastrously lacks space for games (~ 620 GB), which amounts to 3-4 AAA titles. So, I started looking for expansion solutions and was surprised to find that it's done very easily and without any special skills: take off the panel, one screw, and that's it. I spent a long time choosing models, watching reviews, and debating whether I needed a heatsink or if I should save money and get one without it. But the knowledgeable gurus on the forums specifically recommended this model + it comes from the factory with a heatsink and is adapted for the PS5. Taking the SSD out of the bright branded box, I noticed that it is very solidly built and quite heavy - the heatsink is clearly not just for looks. It fit perfectly into the PS5; once I turned it on, it was immediately formatted and passed the write and read speed test - everything was as advertised, with no surprises. I loaded the same game that was initially on the native SSD onto this one and compared the launch speed - there's absolutely no difference. As for heating - after an hour of use, it remained as cool as before. I've been using it for a few months - I have no complaints and can recommend it to everyone. Well, now it's probably just the price. |
