The only condition is the presence of a suitable housing with a free platform for a life-support system of standard size 420 mm.

The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 radiator is made of high-quality aluminum and has a triple design with three fans with a diameter of 140 mm, which, due to PWM adjustment of the blade rotation speed, allow the user to adjust the optimal balance between cooling efficiency and noise level. The pump is equipped with an improved pump that operates with low noise and vibration levels.

The pump unit is optimized for efficient coolant distribution and improved heat transfer. Like other liquid cooling systems in the Liquid Freezer series, this system includes an additional fan to help cool the VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) on the motherboard. The kit includes all necessary fasteners and installation instructions. Considering that this is a 2024 model, the manufacturer limited itself to supporting only the most current processor sockets (LGA 1200, LGA 1700, AMD AM5), abandoning earlier, no longer relevant sockets.

All Liquid Freezer III can be used with the new LGA1851 socket from Intel without limitation. Silent and Powerful VRM Fan The voltage converters of motherboards often work at their maximum temperature in combination with power-hungry CPUs. To compensate the lack of airflow from a tower cooler the Liquid Freezer III works with a revised VRM fan. The 60 mm PWM-controlled fan enables almost silent cooling of the socket area when VRM cooling is insufficient in cases with poor airflow or especially in overclocking scenarios. This enables a continuously higher load and a longer service life for the voltage converters. Contact Frame for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 Intel's Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) deforms the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kg. This causes pressure in the PCB the die and the solder layer between the die and IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). With high thermal load this can lead to long-term problems.
