A top-tier compact mechanical gaming keyboard with a useful feature for adjusting key press stiffness, a carbon plate, ROG NX mechanical switches, a colorful OLED screen with a touchscreen, built-in memory for storing user profiles, a sturdy metal frame, and impressive fully customizable RGB LED backlighting with Asus Aura Sync. It is positioned as a premium-class product designed for demanding gamers and professional eSports players.
The main feature of the Asus ROG Azoth Extreme keyboard is the ability to change key press stiffness, which can be easily done by switching a lever on the bottom of the case. In Hard mode, the keys provide a crisp and resilient response, ideal for gaming. Soft mode offers a gentler key press for comfortable typing of large volumes of text. The Asus ROG Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard supports three connection modes: wired via a detachable USB-C cable, wireless using a 2.4 GHz dongle, and Bluetooth 5.1. It comes with a ROG Polling Rate Booster adapter, providing a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes. Through Bluetooth, the keyboard can be connected to three devices simultaneously, with switching options between them, but the polling rate is limited to the standard Bluetooth rate of 125 Hz.
