Unlike the classic A2DP with SBC/AAC/aptX, the LE Audio + LC3 combination supports multi-streaming and low latency stereo pairing, and also paves the way for Auracast — broadcasting audio to multiple devices simultaneously. It's important to understand that the advantages of LC3 only manifest when LE Audio is supported on both ends; if the source is not compatible, the headphones will switch to the familiar SBC.
