The Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 is a line of powerful gaming laptops designed for demanding gamers and professionals. They combine advanced technology, stylish design and high performance to provide an unrivaled gaming experience, while at the same time giving the user the most serious tools for demanding professional tasks. The top modifications of the laptop are equipped with a Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with 8 physical cores (16 threads) and a maximum Turbo Boost frequency of up to 4.6 GHz.
High gaming performance is guaranteed by the GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card with 8 GB of video memory and a power limit of 115 watts. Thanks to Dynamic Boost technology, which flexibly controls the overall power of the laptop, TDP can be slightly increased if necessary. The amount of DDR4-3200 RAM is either 32 or 64 GB. For storing games and other files, two high-speed PCI-E 3.0 4x class M.2 SSDs with a total storage of 2 TB are used.
The drives operate in RAID 0 mode. For cooling, a complex system is used with a three-section fan, three sections of the radiator, a pack of heat pipes and liquid metal as thermal paste.
