At the heart of the CC8 is the brand-new OCC7 condenser capsule which takes inspiration from the legendary CK1 capsule updated for modern users. Coupled with the transformless output the OCC7 capsule delivers an ultra-linear frequency response and can handle high sound pressure levels (up to 156 dB) without distortion. The resulting sound is natural and open with crystal-clear mids and highs. Crafted to achieve a max tolerance of +/- 0.5 dB sensitivity at 1 kHz the CC8 can be match-paired with any other CC8 mic regardless of its production date. It also features onboard controls for shaping and controlling your sound including a switchable high-pass filter and two analog pads. The CC8s come complete with accessories including everything you need to get started straight out of the box.
