I heard a lot of good things about Beats headphones, but somehow I didn’t manage to try everything myself. And it so happened that a young son accidentally ruined my Sennheisers. To replace them, I bought this miracle of modern sound technology. The design is interesting and correct in terms of strength. Headphones weigh relatively little, they are durable and quite comfortable. I took the model of the most universal color - jet black. There is not much metal in them, it is clearly visible only in the attachment points of the cups, and, probably, it is also in the headband, but this is just my guess. The pressure to the ears is soft and measured, on the one hand, the ears do not get tired of the pressure at all, and on the other hand, an accidental sharp movement of the head does not drop the headphones. The main disappointment is the sound. Well, this is not how headphones with a price tag of more than $ 160 should sound, not like that. The only thing they reproduce really cool is the bass lines. DnB, Dubstep and Trance sound good in them, that's a fact. But you can't put all the emphasis on the bass. Detailing in the mid-frequency range is like that of headphones for $ 15-20, in the high-frequency range it is also some kind of mess. Solo instrumental parts still sound tolerable, but they do not like spectrally rich polyphony. The ear cushions, covered with ordinary vinyl leatherette, are large enough to soar your ears in the heat, but not large enough to cover the entire ear and thus effectively dampen external noise. They also don't fold, so they take up a lot of space when transporting. |
