How do you say "quick glue" in German?
The Bosch GKP 200 hot glue gun is a professional model designed for use in factories and workshops. The tool has a powerful heating element that is able to heat the glue stick up to a temperature of 200 °C and constantly maintain the glue in a plastic state suitable for application on surfaces, regardless of its consumption rate. To work in different modes, replaceable nozzles of various diameters are provided. Inside each nozzle there is a ball that closes the channel, so spontaneous leakage of glue through the nozzle is excluded.
Everything for performant work
Ergonomics of the device is thought out in terms of user convenience. The power cable has a long length (3.5 metres), which allows you to work not only at the table. But if this is not enough, the power cord can be disconnected to quickly apply glue to a surface away from the workplace. The tool has a connection indicator that will not let you not notice that the cable is disconnected.
The shape and weight of the gun are optimal for long-term work. In standby mode, the device stands firmly on the support stand. The wide starter key, which is convenient to press with one or two fingers, allows you to accurately dispense glue in any position. The kit includes a case for storing and carrying the tool.
Pistol for serious tasks
Despite all the advantages, the Bosch GKP 200 pistol is not suitable for small and one-time tasks. It is designed for large volumes of work, and this is clearly visible both in performance (capacity reaches 20 g / min) and in design. For example, the rod feed mechanism is designed in such a way that it is impossible to replace the glue rod before it is completely consumed.
In addition, a professional tool is usually not cheap, and this model is no exception. For a small workshop, it is better to take a similar Bosch PKP 18 E, which costs almost three times less.
