A representative of Bosch’s Series 6 lineup released in 2025 is an advanced-class gas cooktop. The model features an increased body width of 91.5 cm, which is primarily suitable for spacious kitchens, and also comes with a set of 5 burners. The work surface is made of aesthetically pleasing tempered glass, claimed to offer high strength and durability, ready for heavy cookware.

The Bosch PPM 9A6 I40 cooktop stands out with proprietary FlameSelect rotary knobs with 9 power levels and automatic ignition, which allows more precise control of various cooking processes, just like with electric counterparts. The heating zones are divided into 3 sections: on the left is a dedicated wok burner with multiple flame rings and a total heat output of 4 kW.

In the center are a small (1.0 kW) and a standard heating zone (1.75 kW), and on the right — another standard burner and a high-performance one rated at 3 kW. It’s also worth highlighting the flame-failure safety (gas control) for each burner, as well as practical cast-iron grates. Among other things, the latter can be placed in a dishwasher for automatic removal of contaminants.
