“At the helm” of the DSLR is a 20.1 MP full-frame matrix and the almighty DIGIC X image processor. It provides confident coverage of the widest ISO range (25,600 units are considered to be working for the device with a maximum ISO bar of 819,200), the camera’s autofocus has a sensitivity of -4 to +21 EV and works with 191 points (151 cross types). In Live View mode, the autofocus area covers 90% of the width and 100% of the height of the frame, automatic focus on eyes and faces is available.

The video capabilities of the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III body deserve exceptional praise: the model writes 12-bit RAW video from the entire width of the matrix at a maximum resolution of 5472x2886 pixels at 60 fps. The maximum bit rate is up to 2600 Mbps. Canon Log is also available in 4K at 60 fps in 10-bit 4:2:2 with H.265 compression. The camera impresses on many points of the programme, and it also “shoots back” for a long time on one charge of the branded battery — the energy reserves in the battery cells are enough for about 2850 shots.
