Tamron SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD is assembled in a dust- and moisture-proof case made of high-quality plastic. The bayonet mount is metal. The optical scheme of the lens uses 14 elements in 10 groups.
Of these, 3 are molded aspherical elements and another 4 are made of LD glass. Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2 lens coating is used to reduce glare.
