I, as a photographer, also grew during this time and understood well the camera's limitations. And when the question of buying a new camera in place of the outdated and very worn-out old one arose at the end of last year, I, holding my breath, asked to fund a 5D Mark IV and a good fast zoom lens for one and a half thousand dollars. Honestly, I thought the management would be shocked by the amount and "I'd have to roll my expectations back," but miracles do happen, and in February I received the updates. Now I am equipped with a next-generation 30-megapixel sensor. The noise level compared to the previous 60D is negligible. You can shoot over a wide range of ISO, even shots taken at 3200 can be pulled to an excellent quality level, and at 6400 to a good level. The high resolution of the sensor provides such a reserve of detail that noise reduction filters can be used without any fear. It takes stunning video, and with an additional microphone, it can also record high-quality sound. It records video in 1920x1080 at 60 fps. The previous 60D could also record in 1920x1080, but the autofocus behaved erratically and at best simply slowed down desperately. Here, the autofocus is lightning-fast and very tenacious. There is a whole "zoo" of wireless interfaces. It is also worth adding to the advantages a solid magnesium alloy body with weather protection at the level of rain. Heavy, with a battery pack and 24-70 2.8L II USM pulls almost two kilograms. At the exit you need to take at least a monopod. |
