Compact Micro-ATX format. Fits a long video card up to 38 cm.

This case combines modern style, compact dimensions and great potential of the cooling system. This is a platform for a micro-ATX (mini-ITX) motherboard with the ability to install a full-sized processor tower (165mm) and a powerful video card up to 380mm in length. The model differs by mounting the power supply unit under the front panel. This made it possible to reduce the height of the case, but not to the detriment of the spaciousness of the chassis.

The Chieftec BX-10B-OP computer case goes well with a water cooling system. On the top cover there is a mounting platform for easy and reliable fixing of a liquid radiator up to 240 mm. Additionally, the platform allows you to install a set of air fans (up to six turntables 120 mm). The case comes pre-installed with one impeller on the back wall. The bottom cover has a continuous perforated cover, which is protected by a dust mesh. A computer assembly, even with powerful hardware, will not lack ventilation. This case also has a modern high-speed USB Type C port. A transparent tempered glass panel is provided on the side, providing an excellent overview of the components.

A cute and small case, not perfect, but not bad for its price.

Interesting and sturdy case with an unusual layout, the cheapest option in this "format" for component placement.
+ A small case volume, approximately 34 liters, is well-suited for people who move frequently. + Very sturdy construction, thanks to the nearly monolithic front panel and tempered glass side walls. + Placement of drives in front of the "window." A very interesting solution, as most manufacturers hide drives behind the back panel of the case. I personally really liked this feature.
- The quality of the fasteners (screws, bolts, etc.) is poor; the coating wears off easily. The dust "filter" on the front panel is attached with a screw directly into the plastic, making it very easy to strip the thread. - The PSU placement at the front has a dust "filter," but there are no openings for the installation of a PSU with external air intake. Therefore, the only option is to place it to draw air from inside the case, which is not ideal but also not critical. - The large mesh of the dust filter at the bottom does a poor job of capturing dust. In my opinion, it's better to DIY a smaller mesh.

Representative of the new wave

Chieftec Uni BX-10B-OP is a mid-sized MIni-Tower case of a new wave, where, in addition to the Micro-ATX motherboard, a long video card up to 380 mm is also placed. This is a forced decision in connection with the release of the GeForce RTX 4000 and Radeon RX 7000. An increase in the length of the case made it possible to move the power supply: now it is located not at the bottom, but at the front.

Alternative layout

Where there used to be a DVD drive, which is no longer a necessity. The downside of this arrangement is the air intake by the PSU fan from the PC case, and not from outside. But an indisputable plus is the ability to install fans from the bottom of the case right under the video card. There is only one non-luminous turntable included with the case, the rest are offered to be purchased according to your needs.

Modern interfaces

On top of the case there is a large height gap for installing a 240 mm format liquid cooling system. And the air tower will fit up to 165 mm high. The body is made of steel sheets with a thickness of above average 0.6 mm, and the side window is glass. On the front panel, in addition to the usual USB Type-A port, there is also a rotary Type-C 3.2 Gen 1.
