A unique system unit of its kind, created in the Cube Case form factor. The chassis of the case allows you to install a motherboard of a typical micro-ATX size. The Chieftec Gaming Cube CI-01B-OP boasts a thoughtful and ergonomic design. The top and rear panels open at a 45⁰ angle for virtually unobstructed access to the chassis. The front panel has a pair of plugs for installing 5.25" and 3.5" devices.

The case received only 2 ventilation ducts for installing coolers: one mounting location is on the front panel, and the second is on the back. The absence of regular fans allowed to significantly reduce the cost of the case. But despite the limited possibilities of air convection, on the basis of the system unit, you can assemble a very performant gaming computer, a powerful computing station or a full-fledged multimedia centre. The fact is that an increased volume of internal space is allocated for the installation of components. Hardware capacities will not experience a shortage of free space and overheat. The interface panel includes: power buttons, audio jacks and 3 USB ports (several in edition 3.0 and one 2.0).

Model overview based on user reviews
The Chieftec GAMING Cube CI-01B-OP is a compact and versatile cube case designed for micro-ATX motherboards, offering a unique horizontal board layout that supports heavy components like large graphics cards and CPU coolers. Its simple design and gull-wing style opening provide easy access for assembly and maintenance. The case can accommodate up to five drives and supports three 120mm fans, ensuring good ventilation. It features foam and Teflon filters for dust protection, although they may require regular cleaning. While the case is praised for its efficient use of space and cable management options, users recommend a semi-modular PSU for easier installation. The inclusion of a 5.25" slot is appreciated by those who still use optical drives. Overall, this case is ideal for those seeking a compact, functional, and aesthetically pleasing solution for building a small PC.
Pros

Cons

A fairly compact case with easy access and essential functionality.

I wanted to try a case for micro ATX with a horizontal board layout. This is the most compact in its class.
The horizontal position of the MB allows you to mount heavy "towers" and graphics cards without fear of damaging the board. If you don't install a fan in the top cover, a tower over 150mm will fit (mine is 159). The presence of a 5.25 slot is important to me, as many are abandoning it, but I often burn discs and need a drive. Very convenient to assemble, with good access when the "chassis" is opened.
Cable routing is not very convenient, but I easily adapted even with a non-modular PSU. The upper cage for 5.25+3.5+2.5 devices is a single unit and can only be removed entirely.

All right, unusual, convenient, I like it.

Probably the only case that I really liked in terms of airflow, features, and design.
- Simple design, easy on the eyes, none of those flashy hype features being so heavily advertised today;
- The case opens "gull-wing" style, which looks quite unusual;
- Most importantly, the system board inside is horizontal, and the graphics card is mounted vertically;
- Can accommodate up to five drives;
- There are foam filters on the front and top, and a Teflon filter under the PSU, which is really important!
- Option to connect 3 120mm fans;
- Assembly and disassembly won’t be a hassle, just open it up and everything is right in front of you;
- There are rails for the hard drives, which is very pleasing;
- Good ventilation;
- If it's important to anyone, a tower will fit in without issues, but I use a regular stock cooler.
- Sponge filters are good, but they can get pretty clogged, needing either cleaning or replacement;
- an overly long USB 3 cable;
- it's advisable to install a semi-modular PSU;
- if you have fans and a motherboard with lighting, you won't see all that beauty, or you'll only see a dim glow, and only at night, though personally, I don't care.

good model, liked it

Buy if you want to build a small PC.
The cube is very interesting. There is enough space for rx580 sapphire nitro+ size cards. There is room for case fans. If you want a wolf in sheep's clothing, then this case is for you. Satisfied with the purchase. Materials for this pricing policy are tolerable. Pretty well thought out places for cable management.
A nuance to bear in mind is the power supply. An ATX size will fit, but if you choose a non-modular one, there will be a very "passionate relationship" filled with colorful language. It would certainly be nice to have a mesh for the rear case fan. There is no handle to carry this cube. But as they say, you can't have everything.
