A line of multi-purpose performance laptops with 15.6-inch WVA-based, thin-bezel, FullHD-resolution displays with wide viewing angles. The important features of these models include good battery life, as well as the presence of water protection of the island keyboard with a number pad. Dell Inspiron 14 5490 laptops are positioned as balanced and versatile solutions for a wide range of domestic and professional tasks. They belong to the category of medium format devices, have moderate overall dimensions (thickness 19 mm) and modest weight (1.5 kg). Peak single and multi-threaded performance is provided by 2/4-core 10th Gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 U-series (Comet Lake, 10nm) processors paired with 4/8GB DDR4 RAM (possibly extension up to 20 GB). To display the image, the Intel UHD Graphics 620 video core built into the CPU or the base-level discrete Nvidia MX230 graphics card can be used, which can provide an acceptable frame rate in most popular games of 2014-2018 at low / medium graphics settings. All models are equipped with fast Wi-Fi 5 (802.11n/ac) wireless adapters and four USB ports (including one USB 3.2 C Gen1 with Power Delivery).
