Model DCH253N comes without battery, charger and case, while model DCH253M2 comes with two batteries (4 Ah), charger and case
A professional cordless hammer drill with three operating modes, which can make holes with a diameter of up to 24 mm in concrete and brickwork. The tool is equipped with a motor with a useful power of 400 W and an impact mechanism with a single impact energy of 2.1 J. The rotation speed of the chuck at maximum speed reaches 1200 rpm. Among other rotary hammers, the DeWALT DCH253N stands out for its very low vibration level during operation.
The anti-vibration system is made in the form of energy-absorbing elements on which the gearbox is “suspended” inside the housing. The tool also has a safety clutch and LED lighting. The chuck allows the use of all types of drilling and impact accessories with SDS+ shanks. In this configuration, the hammer drill is sold without a battery and charger. The power source should be 18-volt batteries belonging to the DeWALT XR “family”.
