A prime lens for mirrorless cameras of the Fujifilm X system with a cropped APS-C image sensor. In full-frame equivalent, the model is an analogue of optics with a popular focal length of about 50 mm. At the same time, it captivates with a high aperture of f / 1.4. Structurally, the lens is built according to the optical formula "15 elements in 7 groups", including two aspherical and three low dispersion lenses to suppress aberrations and increase the micro-contrast of images.

The diaphragm of the model is 7-blade. The Fujifilm 33mm f/1.4 XF R LM WR Fujinon is focused from a distance of 30 cm, for which the fast and silent linear autofocus drive is responsible. The model also has a separate electronic aperture control ring. A fixed lens is assembled in a relatively compact body with dimensions of 67x73.5 mm. On the front frame of the model, there is an installation thread for filters of 58 mm caliber. The lens adds about 360 g of its own weight to the mass of the "carcass" of the camera.
