A new line of RAM Trident Neo, which includes the latest DDR5 modules with a capacity of 2x16 GB. They feature outstanding starting speed, high throughput and elegant design. Plus they are easy to overclock. The manufacturer positions them as a high-speed solution for advanced users who assemble computers on the AMD platform with an AM5 socket, which entered the market at the end of 2022. Instead of the usual XMP technology with ready-made overclocking settings, the G.Skill kit uses an alternative development from AMD called EXPO. The G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5 2x16Gb kit has outstanding speed characteristics and is not inferior to other DDR5 overclocker kits: the clock frequency is 6000 MHz with CL32 latency, and the total throughput reaches 48000 MB/s. In terms of bare numbers, this is...actually 2 times higher than the standard DDR4-3200 modules that reigned on the market in 2022. To improve stability, the modules were equipped with black metal heatsinks with asymmetric combs that cope well with overheating of memory chips during overclocking. In general, these products are perfect for solving complex professional problems, including mathematical calculations, three-dimensional modeling, compilation and work with visual content. In games, it also provides stable operation and high performance, but the difference with DDR4 is not so impressive so far.
