The GPU runs at a frequency of 2755 MHz, and the GDDR6 memory is 8 GB (with a frequency of 18000 MHz and a 128-bit bus). Gigabyte's modification is significantly different from the reference version presented by Radeon: the chip cooling is handled by the WindForce system, featuring three active fans, a massive heatsink with numerous heat-conducting tubes, and a wide copper base.
The card itself occupies almost 2.5 motherboard slots, and its length reaches 28 cm. At peak load, this device consumes about 200W, making it recommended to be installed only in full-size cases with an ATX motherboard and a power supply unit of at least 550W. The model is based on the Radeon RX 7600 graphics processor from AMD, which allows it to better reveal its potential when paired with processors of this brand. With Boost mode, the video core reaches a high frequency of 2755 MHz, but the memory capacity is limited to 8 GB, which in some cases can lead to lags. The card is optimal for games in Full HD format, giving about 100 FPS at high settings. With an increase in resolution, performance may decrease, despite the support of optimization technologies. Also, due to the limited number of stream processors (2048), the model has some limitations in displaying details in games where the emphasis is on small effects.
WindForce cooling system
Gigabyte has paid special attention to the cooling system to minimize the risk of overheating and throttling under load. The number of copper heat pipes has been increased to five, and their direct contact with the GPU provides effective heat dissipation. The cooling system includes three 80 mm fans, with the central fan rotating in the opposite direction to create an increased air flow.
