Model overview based on user reviews
The HP 15s-eq2000 is a well-regarded laptop praised for its powerful processor and ample RAM, making it suitable for everyday tasks and light gaming. Users appreciate its fast 512 GB SSD and compact, portable design, which offers a smart price-to-quality ratio. The laptop's efficient heat dissipation and excellent battery life are also highlighted, with some users reporting up to 9 hours of use. However, it has a fragile plastic body that requires careful handling, and lacks an Ethernet port, which can be inconvenient. The average quality of built-in speakers and webcam are noted as minor drawbacks. Overall, the HP 15s-eq2000 is recommended for home use, offering good performance for its price, though not ideal for heavy graphics tasks or frequent travel.

I've been using it for over 2 years now; I bought the 8GB RAM and 5500U version on Rozetka, and a year later, I added 16GB. The display quality is good, with enough brightness for outdoor use. No performance issues for the price; I bought it cheaper than it costs now. I've done video editing on this laptop; it ran Adobe Premiere + AE smoothly and rendered pretty quickly. I even managed to edit in 4K with a bit of discomfort. It's even enough to play games; you can comfortably play CS2 on low settings, Dota, Witcher, NFS 2015, PUBG, all ran without discomfort. It also has quite a decent and quality sound from the speakers and a nice webcam. On the downside, there’s the body—the keyboard feels nice to the touch, but after 1.5 years, the top right part started sinking a bit more than other areas, and the plastic body is relatively flexible. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, the battery life is simply excellent; during blackouts, it lasted a solid 9 hours of movie watching. Performance Battery Display Price Plastic case |
Not a bulky low-cost laptop with a nice design, I have a version on the 5500U AMD processor, and the keyboard is pleasant to the touch, and the letters are not erased at all, and the beech is already 5 months old, and loaded it with different tasks not bad, behaves calmly, and does not make Cooling system noise and like temperatures separately, I note the cooling and the built-in Ryzen video core. So far there have never been any problems. |

I didn't want to consider options under 20 thousand, but I'm glad that in the end, I chose this one. Compact, lightweight. Very fast to use. 16 GB RAM is just incredible. It handles all processes from internet surfing, office programs, and simple games absolutely smoothly and quickly.
Before purchasing, I compared it with similar models, considered Intel processors, which are more expensive, and benchmarked their performance. For this price, its processor is no worse than the more expensive options. AMD, which for many may seem unproven, justifies itself very, very well.
There was also a problem with the first internet connection. The laptop doesn't have a typical Ethernet port, and at first glance, it can only be connected via Wi-Fi. The problem was that the WiFi driver didn't load with the Windows installation, and I puzzled over it for about an hour and started blaming defects. Everything was resolved by connecting to the phone via the Type-C port and using the phone as an internet modem. After that - magic, all drivers loaded either automatically or because I downloaded the utility from the official HP website.
