Full-size wireless keyboard with a scissors mechanism, the most notable feature of which is the abandonment of the traditional battery in favor of a supercapacitor. This fundamentally changes the approach to charging: instead of several hours at the outlet, only three minutes via USB-C are enough, after which the keyboard works up to two months. The supercapacitor does not degrade over time like lithium batteries, positively impacting the device's longevity.

Charging can be done right during operation with the included cable. Connection is via Bluetooth to two devices simultaneously and through a 2.4 GHz radio channel using the included HP Unifying Dongle, which supports pairing of up to eight HP peripheral devices and is stored in a special compartment inside the keyboard case. The dongle connection is secured with 128-bit AES encryption.

Switching between devices — with one key. The HP 720 Multi-Device Rechargeable Wireless keyboard is compatible with multiple operating systems, and the presence of CMD and OPT keys indicates support for macOS along with Windows. Among the seven additional keys is a dedicated button to launch Microsoft Copilot and programmable keys, customizable to reduce routine tasks. The island-style low-profile keys ensure quiet typing, and the body thickness is just 18 mm with a weight of 499 g.
