The HP OMEN 16-ap0000 series of gaming laptops, with a focus on performance, was designed by an American company at the end of 2025. It includes a large number of modifications that meet the needs of the mid-range and premium price segments. Entry-level models are equipped with a Ryzen AI 5 340 processor or Ryzen AI 7 350, while more advanced options feature the Ryzen 9 8940HX or Ryzen AI 9 365.

The system is complemented by varying amounts of DDR5 RAM, ranging from 16 to 64 GB. The visualization of the virtual world and other content in high quality is achieved through the modern GeForce RTX 5060 / 5070 graphics card. Differences between models also include the capacity of the built-in SSD M.2 (512 – 4000 GB), the presence of a pre-installed Windows 11 OS, and display capabilities.

All laptops support advanced gaming at a resolution no lower than Full HD with complete support for multi-frame generation, ray tracing, gaming modes, and technologies. The 16-inch IPS screen allows you to see the smallest details at a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and a frequency of 144 Hz. Modifications are available with a refresh rate of 240 Hz at a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels.

Otherwise, the display provides a good response time of 0.3 ms, average color coverage, and is tuned for eye protection and comfort during extended viewing. The series is equipped with a necessary set of ports for connecting home, office, and gaming peripherals, and effective interaction with network equipment of various generations. With a spacious 2.44 kg body, there is space for USB-A / USB-C, HDMI, LAN, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a Full HD camera with a privacy shutter, and two microphones with high-quality DTS X Ultra sound. Pleasant visual effects are provided by a 4-zone RGB backlight. The manufacturer equipped the models with a good 83 Wh battery for extended autonomous use without being tethered to a power outlet. Energy can be replenished fairly quickly: 50% in 30 minutes.
