The NPU combined with the Zen 5 architecture shapes the new generation of working laptops: models capable of running large language models locally, working with generative AI, processing video and audio in real-time, and accelerating all tasks requiring analysis or recognition. Even scenarios such as graphics generation, working with Stable Diffusion, automatic editing, or transcribing large files run noticeably faster. For developers, this means the ability to work with local instances of LLM without the cloud, and for engineers, it means faster processing of models and simulations.
The Radeon 8060S graphics module is probably the most interesting part because integrated graphics have never been so close to mid-level mobile RTX. It's not suitable for AAA games on ultra settings, but for rendering, Blender, CAD, and video editing at 1080–1440p, it's more than sufficient.
