Video reviews

The JBL brand is part of the Harman group and is the benchmark in portable audio. The Everest Elite 750 NC headphone model belongs to the PRO line and impresses with everything: from appearance to price.

close to perfect

Everest Elite 750 NC is really as good as Everest is high.

Let's start with ergonomics. Headphones fold compactly, the bowls rotate, the headband is soft, with convenient adjustment. However on the head the design may seem somewhat cumbersome, due to the fact that the bowls seem to consist of two halves: the outer plastic and the ear pads directly. So, some will have to get used to such "duality".

The system of adaptive active noise reduction handles with external sounds on a solid five. She chooses what and how to drown her. Not only that, the noise cutoff level can be forcibly adjusted through the My JBL Headphones mobile app. Low mode is better to turn on for a quieter environment, when you need to hear, for example, the conversations of colleagues, and High, when stronger filtering is required — in the subway, plane, etc.

Sound

As for the sound, everything is decided by the TrueNote proprietary technology — a kind of analogue of calibrating acoustic systems for the characteristics of the room, and in our case, the human ear. JBL alone knows how it works, but the sound is really very comfortable, without distortion, and surprisingly deep. TrueNote is activated by the Smart button, located in the same place as all the other control buttons — on the edge of the earpiece. Somewhere not far from them is a built-in microphone, protected from the effect of breathing. The interlocutor will hear you clearly enough, even if you run.

battery life

It would be surprising if, with such an arsenal, the manufacturer saved on the battery life of the device. Headphones work from one charge up to 20 hours with ANC off and up to 15 with it on. The result is not the best, but not bad either. For example, the same Bose QuietComfort 35, which is considered the closest competitor to the 750 NC, pulls the same.

In terms of configuration, I was pleased with a convenient case, a cable with a remote control and a USB cable for charging. Little things, but nice.

The JBL Everest Elite 750 NC is a perfectly balanced stereo headset in every way. Although the price could be more modest.
