Model DJV184Z comes without battery, charger and case, while model DJV184RTJ comes with two batteries (5 Ah), charger and case.

A powerful cordless jigsaw with a brushless motor, designed for fast and precise sawing of wood and other materials. It can be used to saw boards up to 135 mm thick, as well as aluminum blanks up to 20 mm in diameter, and steel up to 10 mm. The Makita DJV184Z jigsaw has a regulator for adjusting the saw blade frequency (up to 3000 strokes/min), as well as constant electronics (automatically maintains speed under load) and a "soft start" function.

When performing rough cuts in wood, you can turn on the pendulum mechanism, which increases the sawing speed. Due to the ability to tilt the sole left and right by 45 °, this jigsaw is suitable for making oblique cuts. The quick-release chuck can accommodate all types of wood and metal saws with T-shaped shanks and a length of 76 mm to 180 mm. The tool is equipped with a built-in backlight and has a plastic adapter for connecting a vacuum cleaner. There is no battery or charger included. The Makita 18V LXT battery should be used as a power source for this jigsaw.
