The Makita brand cordless trimmer is a relatively light (less than 3 kg) garden equipment for solving auxiliary tasks on the site. A small working width of 26 cm makes the model an excellent choice for trimming the lawn near paths, cutting grass next to flower beds, trees and other places that are difficult to use with lawn mowers. The Makita DUR181SY trimmer received an electric motor at 7800 rpm, which is located below and is powered by a complete 1.5 Ah battery.

It has a charge level indicator, represents the 18V LXT proprietary family and can be used with other manufacturer's equipment. Of the design features of the scythe, it is worth highlighting the D-shaped handle, the swivel head and the ability to change the angle of the rod. At the same time, the latter is telescopic, which makes it possible to choose the length according to the height of the operator. Special mention deserves the presence of a restrictive bracket, which will simplify the work near flowers, fences and other obstacles. It should be borne in mind that there are various modifications of the model on sale, depending on the complete battery and charger: there are versions with a different battery capacity or without a battery at all.
