A cordless planer designed for professional use in woodworking workshops and construction sites. The device is designed to level surfaces made of natural or processed wood, remove old paint, process edges and perform other tasks. The Makita DKP180Z planer has a planing width of 82 mm. The cutting equipment is double-sided knives that rotate at a speed of 14,000 rpm. The planing depth is adjusted from zero to 2 mm in 0.1 mm increments using a rotary regulator.

The maximum groove sampling depth is 9 mm. The sole has a V-shaped groove for forming a chamfer and a shoe that allows you to place the tool on a table or workpiece until the knives come to a complete stop. The planer has a motor brake and an effective dust removal system. In this package, the tool is supplied without a battery and charger. Makita 18V LXT batteries with a capacity of 1 Ah to 6 Ah should be used as a power source.
