Mercusys MR30G

One of the available models of dual-band wireless routers (routers) of the AC1200 class with support for the Wi-Fi 5 standard, MU-MIMO 2x2 multi-stream data transfer technology and a useful Beamforming virtual focusing function. It is positioned as a product of the basic price category of 2021, designed to organize a full-fledged wireless and cable network in a city apartment, a separate house or a small office (up to 2 stationary PCs).

To organize a high-speed incoming connection to the provider's network, a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port with a bandwidth of up to 1000 Mbps is provided. As a hardware basis for the Mercusys MR30G router, a combination of a productive chipset with a standard radio module and four external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi is used. For such a platform, the manufacturer claims an impressively high peak (theoretical) speed of wireless connections (867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz). It should be noted that the real speed of Internet connections will be limited to 350/130 Mbps, which, however, is enough for any household tasks. The router will provide comfortable surfing, easily cope with the routing of FullHD / 4K resolution IPTV broadcasts, cloud services, gaming, VPN traffic and heavy load created by file-sharing network clients.
