An affordable dual-band wireless router (router) of the AC1500 class with full support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax), MU-MIMO multi-stream data transmission technology and a useful Beamforming virtual focusing function. Positioned as an affordable product in the mid-price category in 2023. Can be used to organize a full-fledged wireless and small cable network in a city apartment, cottage or small office (up to two stationary PCs).

To organize a high-speed incoming connection to the provider’s network, a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port with a throughput of up to 1000 Mbit/s is provided. The hardware basis of the Mercusys MR60X router is a combination of a powerful Realtek chipset with a standard radio module and four external antennas with a gain of 5 dBi. This model claims impressively high peak (theoretical) wireless connection speeds (1200 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz).

It should be noted that the actual Internet connection speed will be limited to 600/150 Mbit/s per device, which, however, is sufficient for any household and typical office tasks. The router will provide impeccably comfortable surfing and can easily cope with routing IPTV broadcasts of FullHD/4K resolution, cloud services, gaming, VPN traffic and the intense load created by clients of file-sharing networks.
