A compact corded router designed for processing the edges of wooden blanks, milling profiles, cutting grooves and performing other tasks in a woodworking workshop or furniture production. The 500 W motor provides a cutter speed of up to 32,000 rpm at idle and about 19,000 rpm under rated load. The cutter immersion depth is infinitely adjustable in the range from zero to 40 mm. The collet chuck of the Metabo FM 500-6 601741000 router has a hole with a diameter of 6 mm. The tool weighs 1.3 kg and has a 2 m long power cable. The kit includes a parallel stop, a copy flange, a roller guide and a glass to protect against chips.
