The fifth generation of Mobvoi brand smartwatches, the TicWatch, is a mid-range solution based on Wear OS 3.0. The device features a round dial protected by Gorilla Glass. The casing is made of aluminum and meets the military protection standard MIL-STD-810H, with water resistance rated at 5 atmospheres, allowing for pool swimming activities, supported by a dedicated fitness mode.
The model is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor with a clock speed of 1700 Hz, which is claimed to offer a twofold performance increase compared to the previous generation. It also includes 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The TicWatch Pro 5 smartwatches from Mobvoi support Bluetooth call reception (with a microphone and speaker), have a built-in audio player, Wi-Fi 4 for wireless data transfer, and NFC for contactless payments via Google Wallet.
Sports enthusiasts will be pleased with the 100 fitness modes, built-in GPS module with maps, and track guidance capabilities. A notable feature is the ability to determine the recovery time after physical activities (assessment of readiness for new workouts). Interaction is facilitated through a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen and a rotating "crown" with tactile feedback. The battery life is rated for 3 days, powered by a 628 mAh lithium-ion battery, which can be charged up to 65% in just half an hour.
