Model overview based on user reviews
The Mobvoi TicWatch S2 is a smartwatch that offers a blend of functionality and design. Users appreciate its water resistance and geolocation features, making it suitable for outdoor activities. The watch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, ensuring smooth operation, although some users report occasional slowdowns. The AMOLED display is generally well-received, but can be difficult to read in bright sunlight. Battery life is a point of contention; while some users experience up to three days of use, others find it lacking, especially with GPS and Bluetooth active. The absence of a speaker limits call functionality, despite some reviews suggesting otherwise. The design is robust, meeting military-grade protection standards, but the lack of NFC is noted as a downside. Overall, the TicWatch S2 is valued for its durability and smart features, though improvements in battery life and additional features like NFC would enhance its appeal.

The watch is not bad, though it looks more massive than it seems in the pictures. They work fast enough, but there are slight slowdowns (not critical). I was very disappointed by the lack of a speaker, and therefore the inability to make calls and listen to voice messages. By autonomy it is not yet clear, the clock is my first day. Declared protection class The absence of a speaker, although many write in the reviews that they call from the watch and receive calls (I read such reviews not only here) use Mobvoi TicWatch S2 less than month |
I don't understand, are all the reviews from people who haven't worn these watches? What is this 2-3 days of battery life? Only when all wireless functions are completely turned off? And with the watch face off? Then what's the point of having a "smartwatch"? With Bluetooth on, my watch barely lasts through a short winter day! And if you periodically turn on the GPS, the battery percentage doesn't just decrease by a few points, it drops by tens! This was very disappointing. Several times the watch let me down - it died at the most inconvenient moment, switching to power-saving mode where you can only see the time. Someone in the comments says you can make calls from the watch! Ha-ha! - how? without a speaker? Pressing the call answer button on the watch only to then reach for the phone or plug in a Bluetooth headset is questionable enjoyment. The only plus is that you can respond to incoming notifications. Connecting to the phone via Bluetooth requires a bit of trouble (perhaps it's the phone's fault - Redmi Note 5, but not necessarily). Water resistance is indeed an undeniable advantage, which was the basis for choosing the watch. But the battery life negates everything! I'm planning to sell it and buy a less "smart" but more autonomous and, in my opinion, more functional watch from a well-known Chinese manufacturer (I won't name it to avoid being considered advertising), which was just released, the 2nd series. Also, I didn't like the watch button - when worn on the left wrist, it regularly gets pressed when bending the wrist, activating the voice assistant or waking the watch up. Overall, I'm not satisfied. Screen, water resistance class Battery life - non-existent! Pre-installed apps that you want to delete, but can't. They regularly lag (slow down) - I don't know why some comments mention their "high performance." Other disadvantages - mainly in the comments. |
I liked the watch. It's really comfortable and the design is nice. But what's cool is the functionality. Geolocation, weather, messaging apps, music, internet - it all works at a high level. I was especially surprised that the watch has military-grade protection (you can wear it however you like without fearing scratches). It's convenient to be able to view messages from the messenger and quickly respond to them. Geolocation, battery, vologozakhist Reminder how it’s good for me to come |
