The MSI Forge GK600 TKL is a compact tournament keyboard without a number pad, offering maximum value for the money. It costs a bit more than most budget mechanical keyboards, but stands out with a stylish design, versatile connection options (Bluetooth, RF, and a detachable USB-C), solid battery life (up to 20 days on a single charge), and a built-in LCD screen. Excellent build, hefty body, and quality sound dampening

It uses KTT HiFi linear switches rated for up to 50 million keystrokes, with hot-swap support and a moderate noise level thanks to dense sound dampening. They’re equally comfortable for gaming and typing. The keycaps are made of durable PBT plastic. The keyboard’s build quality is high, and for a TKL it’s fairly heavy (943 g), which helps it stay put on the desk. The feet let you choose one of two tilt angles. RGB lighting offers 20 modes and adjustable brightness from 10 to 100%. If you want a compact and affordable option, the Forge GK600 TKL is one of the most compelling choices as of August 2025.
